Welcome New Families!

Irvington Community

Irvington Elementary is a small neighborhood school located in the heart of Northeast Portland’s Historic Irvington District. We are a diverse, tight-knit community of over 237 elementary school kids and families.  At least 5 languages are spoken at Irvington.  Thirty-five percent of us are students of color and 16 percent of students have Individual Education Plans (IEP).  Each of us is an essential part of the Irvington School family.

And you can be too!

CEP schools provide school breakfasts and lunches to ALL students at NO CHARGE while they are enrolled in a CEP school during the current school year. Families do NOT need to submit a free or reduced-price meal application for students who are enrolled in a CEP school during the current school year. We are happy to inform you that we were able to expand our CEP to include 20 additional schools. Here is the list of the CEP schools for the 2023-24 school year.

We care about our student’s wellness. There are people and community organizations who can support you and your family. Connect with any of the supports listed here and/or share your concerns with your medical provider.
