Irvington After School Activities

Here are the Winter 2025 after-school class offerings! Registration will open on Monday, December 9th at 6 pm.  You will be sent an email with links to class registration forms at that time.  This website will also be updated with live links, but it can take many minutes for the change to happen, so plan to check your email at 6 pm.

Note: These programs are provided to families as a resource and are not endorsed or sponsored by Irvington School or the PTA.

Some classes have a minimum number of students to run, so share with school friends which ones your kiddos are attending!

The 2024-25 OBOB season is here, and we are excited to once again offer a short after school prep course where we will talk about how OBOB works, review various studying techniques, run through practice questions, and even engage in some practice battles.

**NEW THIS YEAR** Due to the popular demand last year, and because our OBOB participation has grown this year, we are offering the after school class on two separate days. The content of the courses will be the same. We are offering the class on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the month of January. Please check the option(s) that work for you, and if you are available either day, please check for both days. We are aiming to keep the class sizes balanced. We will do our best to keep teams together where possible, but class size balancing will be a factor.

NOTE: THIS CLASS WILL ONLY RUN FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY

This class will be run by parent volunteers Kevin Gauthier, Mike Benkoski, Nicole Galloway and Becky Rencova. The fee is $100 and proceeds will be donated to the Irvington PTA. Scholarships available!

The goal is to provide a location to learn, study, ask questions about, and play Chess. Sets and boards will be provided, bring only your brains (and your backpack)!
