We came up with a list of priorities we’re working towards: 1. Increase communication between all members of the Irvington School community (teachers, parents, administrators). We would like to provide the space and time for all Irvington voices to be heard and for all to have access to information that impacts our children and school. 2. Broaden and strengthen our PTA community. We’re committed to making the PTA visible, accessible and reflective of our school’s community.3. Provide financial support to Irvington School and responsibly manage those funds. 4. Stabilize the PTA and move it forward. We’d like to accomplish this by doing work that is valued by our school community, having a succession plan – recruiting officers that volunteer their time for more than one year and by assuring that PTA has its systems in place (manuals, guidelines, job descriptions, etc).Join us in accomplishing these goals! The next PTA meeting will be Tuesday, December 4, 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the library. PTA provides free childcare for kids 3 + up. Please join us! Missed a meeting? Check the PTA bulletin board in the school’s main hallway (across from the office) or check our school’s website www.irvingtonelementary.com
